University of Canterbury Commerce Building

A significant project for the University of Canterbury built by C. Lund & Son Ltd. This new building is two 6 and 7 storey towers or wings with a substantial glazed atrium and foyer/concourse at ground level with undergraduate teaching facilities below ground.

It is a reinforced concrete structure comprising in-situ fair faced columns and in-situ /precast beams and precast basement & wall cladding panels. A high standard of finish was achieved in all structural and finishing work including all in-situ fair faced concrete.
