Carpentry apprentices
A carpentry apprenticeship is an agreement between C. Lund & Son Ltd as the employer and a trainee to work together in order that the trainee qualifies for a National Certificate in Carpentry. The apprenticeship is overseen by the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation.
The National Certificate has a theory component which is taught by a Polytech and has 18 compulsory/12 optional practical competency based unit standards which you can learn and achieve at work. Information on the National Certificate in Carpentry can be found on the CPIT website.
Generally we will hold interviews for carpentry apprentices every two years however we will consider all expressions of interest.
